From Romance to Drama: Recap of Vanderpump Rules Season 10

Vanderpump Rules, a popular reality TV show, first aired back in 2013 and has since become a fan-favorite, receiving high ratings and a dedicated fan following. The show follows the lives of the staff at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, SUR (Sexy Unique Restaurant), located in West Hollywood, California.

In the show’s 10th season, fans saw major changes in the cast, as they witnessed the departure of some of the original cast members and the rise of new ones. The season was filled with plenty of romance, drama, and of course, the show’s signature catfights.

One of the most significant changes that fans saw in Season 10 was that Jax Taylor, the show’s longtime player, finally tied the knot with his girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright. The couple had been through a lot together, including infidelity on Jax’s part, but they made it work and were determined to commit to one another. The viewers got to see the lead-up to the wedding, including the planning, bridal showers, bachelor parties, and of course, the big day itself. The wedding was a lavish affair, with all the SUR staff uniting to celebrate the couple.

Another significant arc of the season was the relationship between Scheana Shay and Brock Davies. Shay had recently ended her marriage with Mike Shay and was ready to start anew. She met Davies, a personal trainer, whom she quickly fell for. Throughout the season, fans got to see the ups and downs of their relationship, which wasn’t always smooth sailing. They went through tough times, including family drama, trust issues, and communication problems. However, they worked hard to overcome their difficulties and eventually got engaged towards the end of the season.

In a major shock to viewers and to the SUR staff, Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz’s business venture, TomTom, came under fire. The two Toms had poured their hearts into the bar, and it was a huge hit with audiences. However, it was discovered that Sandoval’s business partner had mismanaged funds and wasn’t paying his share of the bills. This led to a lot of tension between the group, both personally and professionally.

Stassi Schroeder, who was one of the original cast members, had a tumultuous season. Fans saw her try to navigate her new relationship with Beau Clark, who was a great partner for her and incredibly supportive. However, Schroeder also found herself involved in a lot of drama with her fellow castmates, including a feud with Kristen Doute. The two had been friends for years, but their friendship had disintegrated, causing a lot of drama for everyone involved.

One of the most significant surprises of the season was the addition of two new cast members, Dana Wilkey and Max Boyens. Wilkey, who had appeared briefly on the show previously, was brought back as a full-time cast member. She had a rocky start with some of the cast, especially Schroeder, but eventually found her footing. Boyens, meanwhile, was a brand new addition to the cast. He was a manager at SUR and quickly got caught up in the drama, including a brief fling with Doute.

The show wasn’t without its controversies, either. Cast member Faith Stowers came forward with allegations of racism, accusing Schroeder and Doute of targeting her because of her race. Both women issued public apologies and were subsequently fired from the show. The controversy led to a broader conversation about the issue of diversity in reality TV.

Despite the challenges, the season was one of the most exciting and dramatic yet, with plenty of screaming matches, tears, and heartfelt moments. Fans of the show were treated to some of the most iconic moments of the franchise, including Jax’s proposal to Brittany, the introduction of new cast members, and the ever-present drama that comes with SUR.

In conclusion, Vanderpump Rules Season 10 was one for the books. With new cast members, romantic arcs, and plenty of drama, the show kept viewers on the edge of their seats. As the series continues to evolve, fans are excited to see what the future of the show holds and what new and exciting storylines are in store.
